The 5 Best Instagram Spots in Paros, Greece

If you are probably planning your Cyclades island hopping, be sure to visit Paros to not miss its best Instagram spots. The lesser-known Greek island of Paros boasts so many photographic opportunities that you won’t regret the nearby Mykonos and Santorini. Also, Paros offers beautiful beaches, tavernas and villages that made us love this island during our stay. However, in this article, we will only focus on the best Instagram spots in Paros. So, let’s go ahead and dive right into it!

One of our favorite spots in Paros is in the small village of Marpissa. This ancient village is located on the hill of Kefalos above Piso Livadi in the eastern part of Paros. We left our car near the church of Agios Antonios, probably the best place to start the exploration of this small village. The so-instagrammable house with the pink door is located not far from the church of Agios Antonios. In fact, it was not difficult to reach it after a few minutes on foot.

This pretty photo spot is only a few steps away from the house with the pink door. In truth, you will find other spots like this in Marpissa but we particularly liked this one. The village of Marpissa has white cubic houses with blue windows and colorful bougainvillea at every corner. Also, don’t worry about the crowds of tourists as Marpissa is very quiet at all times and still little known!

The chic harbor village of Naoussa is the most popular center of Paros. This town is located at the northern end of the island of Paros. Naoussa boasts beautiful photo spots scattered among its narrow streets and whitewashed houses. Furthermore, its harbor is particularly picturesque at sunset when hundreds of tourists flock to its streets. One of the most famous Instagram spots on the island is Linardo. This nighttime music bar in addition to fancy cocktails features an entrance with pink bougainvilleas that match its same-color door. Unfortunately during our visit in early June, it was not yet open. So we have a good reason to return to Paros as soon as possible!

Lefkes is another must-see village in Paros. This pretty town is located in the central area of the island and is the most mountainous village on Paros. So get ready to walk up and down its quaint alleys to find the best photo spots. Finding this spot wasn’t that easy, but in the end we got our photo. You have to find the Aranto restaurant and then go down the road towards the inside of the village. Also, keep in mind that it’s easy to get lost in this little maze of alleys.

Our second favorite spot in Lefkes is near the Agia Triada church. In the square near the church, you will find a bar with tables next to red bougainvilleas. This is a perfect place to take a little break and take the opportunity to take some photos too. Also, if you want, you can visit the nearby church built by the Byzantines and the second largest on the island of Paros.
