Tuljak

This restaurant was born in 2015 after the renovation of the historic cafe, called Tuljak. The interiors boast a modern and attractive design. In addition, the mise-en-place is perfect and the food is served impeccably by the friendly staff!

Baojaam

If you love the famous Thai Baos, this place is perfect for you! Have you ever heard of bao? Bao is a steamed bun filled with either avocado, chicken, pork or beef. In addition, each bao is handmade and very tasty. Baojaam is located inside the Balti Jaama Turg, Tallinn’s most famous market.

Maiasmokk Cafe

Maiasmokk is not only the oldest operational café in Estonia but also a museum. Located in Old Town, it offers you fresh pastries, pies and cakes. Also, hot coffee offered in a variety of forms. A piece of Tallinn history that is worth a visit at least once for a coffee.

For ice cream lovers don’t miss this place! In fact, this is one of the best (maybe the best!) Ice cream parlors in Tallinn. Every day Gelato Ladies offers 18 flavors of cream-based ice creams and sorbets. In addition, the menu includes waffles and delicious pancakes.

Estonian Burger Factory

One of the most popular burger restaurants in Tallinn and for good reason! They started in 2012 as a small street-food place. In 2019, they moved into the courtyard of the Koch Gardens in a larger space. In fact, the new restaurant has around 75 seats and offers guests a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Try one of their burgers made from high-quality raw materials. You will not regret it!

Vegan Restoran V

This restaurant was the first vegan restaurant in Estonia. It’s 100% vegan meaning everything is free from dairy, egg and meat. A paradise for vegans but not only! In addition, it’s usually crowded, as a result we recommend that you reserve your table in advance.

RØST

RØST is a Scandinavian influenced little bakery and quality coffee shop in the heart of Rotermann district. In addition, it has been our favorite place for breakfast for many days. At peak times there is always the queue even just to have a coffee. Try both the cinnamon and cardamom buns. They are really delicious!

Rataskaevu 16

Just a few steps from Vegan V, this restaurant is located in the Old Town. Rataskaevu 16 boasts more than 7000 reviews on TripAdvisor and with good reason. Besides, they have the best black bread ever eaten, real goodness! Therefore, it’s not easy to find a table, so you need to book in advance.

Farm Restaurant

The first restaurant we tried in town. It offers modern Estonian cuisine and its dishes are truly delicious. In addition, its location is in the heart of the Old Town and it’s possible to book online through their official website. The stick ice cream made of spiced baltic sprats is a really good appetizer for your lunch/dinner.

Rukis

Rukis is part of the same family as Farm Restoran. So if you loved Farm, you would also love this cosy cafe in the Old Town. Rukis prepares delicious cakes and more for his customers every day. For this reason, this quaint and quiet little cafe can be the perfect place for your hearty breakfast.
